Part Time/Full Time Physiotherapist

Tidal Physiotherapy and Pilates is seeking a passionate physiotherapist to join our team on the beautiful South Coast of NSW. Located in Malua Bay, this established  seaside practice prides itself on providing high quality, holistic care to the community. We have a great referral network with local GP’s, excellent word-of-mouth referrals and flexibility for  work-life balance to enjoy all the coast has to offer.

 

You will be working alongside an experienced physiotherapist, with a diverse caseload and opportunity to develop your practice to your own interests and specialties. Our principal physiotherapist has 14+ years clinical experience, particularly in sport, musculoskeletal, orthopaedics and women’s health. As co-creator of Physio Mentors, she offers a mentorship program which has trained dozens of new graduate allied health professionals as they enter professional practice. Joining the team includes access to this program as well as regular skills development in-services.

 

This position is suitable for an experienced physiotherapist looking for a sea change or an entry level physiotherapist looking to gain experience in private practice, with a varied caseload and ample opportunities for growth. 

 

The main focus of the practice is musculoskeletal, pilates, women’s health, and acupuncture/dry needling - Interest in these fields and other areas of expertise are welcomed.

Flexible hours, Part time or Full time opportunities available.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage and build on our large existing client base

  • Maintain and build relationships with local referrers, including GP's, personal trainers, sporting teams and specialists

  • Offer 1:1 client care using sound clinical reasoning to identify underlying contributions to injuries, provide individualized treatment plans and promote optimal lifelong physical health

  • Offer small group active rehab classes or pilates-based classes

  • Demonstrate a commitment to improving your knowledge and clinical skills

 

Position Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance is essential

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish genuine rapport with clients

  • A strong commitment to clinical excellence and quality care

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends if applicable

  • Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously

  • Experience or willingness to gain qualifications to provide clinical exercise classes, particularly pilates based exercise

  • Competency with online scheduling and electronic health records

  • Maintain administrative duties, including relevant documentation and reporting associated with client care

  • NSW Criminal Police Check

  • Current WWVP/WWCC

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
